Ogilvie Reaches 3000 Student Room Milestone

Ogilvie Construction has reached a unique milestone in the Scottish construction sector, having built over 3000 student accommodation rooms across the country in the last five years.

The company is one of Scotland’s leading contractors in the student accommodation market and has completed 11 developments across Scotland. Ogilvie’s 12th project – New City Road – is currently under construction in Glasgow and will deliver a further 315 rooms when it is completed.

Donald MacDonald, Managing Director, Ogilvie Construction, said:

More than half (57%) have been built in Edinburgh in 6 developments with 29% of rooms created in Glasgow in 2 developments, 7% in Aberdeen in two developments and one building in Stirling that accounts for 7% of the total. (Full list below).
