Ogilvie appointed to hub South West supply chain

Ogilvie Construction has been appointed to hub South West Scotland’s supply chain as a Tier 1B Contractor.

The award means that Ogilvie Construction can bid for hub infrastructure projects up to a value of £10 million across the South West of the country. It builds on Ogilvie’s successful track record with the national hub programme, which has seen the company deliver 3 schools in the North East and Central Scotland.

Donald MacDonald, Managing Director, Ogilvie Construction, said: “We are delighted to have joined the hub South West supply chain and look forward to working with them to deliver high quality buildings that benefit the communities in the region. Our teams have extensive experience in the successful delivery of high quality public sector infrastructure in Scotland.”

Michael McBrearty, chief executive, hub South West Scotland, added: “As our pipeline continues to expand and diversify, hub South West are committed to ensuring we have a skilled and robust supply chain that can deliver a wide range of quality projects on behalf of our participants. We are delighted to welcome Ogilvie Construction as a Tier-1B contractor and look forward to working with them in the future.”

hub South West is the development partner of choice for the public sector and has delivered over £500 million of infrastructure for local authorities, the NHS, the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service, North Ayrshire Ventures Trust, as well as police and fire.

Ogilvie Construction is part of the Ogilvie Group, one of Scotland's most consistently successful family owned businesses. The company is over 65 years old and employs more than 600 people across its various business operations.
