In Galashiels, in the heartlands of the Scottish Borders, the Great Tapestry of Scotland gallery is open for visitors following completion this year by Ogilvie Construction.
Including a cafe, workshop space and visitor centre, the unique construction houses the incredible tapestry which tells the story of Scotland's history, heritage and culture dating from 8500 BC to present day.
