We have been shortlisted for:

- Construction Project of the Year
- Site Manager of the Year, recognising the outstanding leadership of Kevin Campbell
All three nominations highlight the success of the recently completed project at Camphill School in Aberdeen. Congratulations to all the team in the northeast. Congratulations to all the team in the northeast.
Working in partnership with Collective Architecture, Ogilvie Construction helped Camphill School achieve a major milestone in its mission to provide care and education for more children and young people with learning disabilities and complex additional support needs.
The project delivered a new 11-bedroom home, now providing accommodation for seven young people along with four members of staff. Designed to feel warm and welcoming, the building is domestic in scale, ensuring a relatable and comfortable environment for those living there.
The two-storey home is arranged as a sequence of structures that form two courtyard spaces – one larger area designed for group activities, and a smaller, garden-style courtyard offering a quieter retreat. This layout integrates seamlessly into the informal, rural campus of Camphill School, set within former farmland to the west of Aberdeen.
The Trades Awards nominations are a testament not only to the quality of construction but also to the positive impact the project has had on the local community. From sustainability and design to on-site delivery, the Camphill School project reflects Ogilvie Construction’s commitment to delivering sustainable buildings that will meet their clients’ needs for years to come.
The Trades Awards are Northeast Scotland’s biggest construction honours, with winners due to be announced at a ceremony on 7 November at Ardoe House Hotel.
